Ringer powder is used as isotonic diluent fluid.

Composition (gr /lit):

Sodium chloride…………..….2.250

Potassium chloride……..……0.105

Calcium chloride…………..…0.120

Sodium bicarbonate………….0.050

pH : 7.2 ± 0.2 (at 25°C)

Directions :

In order to prepare the Isotonic solotion for Eukaryotic cells add 10 gr of the reagent to one liter of distilled water, and in order to prepare the solution for prepared solution is then distributed into the various tubes and must be Autoclave (15 min, at 10 lbs pressure, 121ᵒc).

Ringer Powder

Ringer solution isotonic, and is composed of a ratio of 0.009 Na in distilled water. After autoclave cooking the solution does not settle.

In order to prepare cell suspensions or thinning solutions, a  ringer is used.

Storange and shelf-life :

Store dry and keep tightly closed,store at 15-25ᵒc protect from light and the prepared medium at 2 – 8ᵒc.
